Champion Gap
Everyone says they use AI. Three people actually do.
You have three engineers who ship twice as fast since they started using AI. You have twenty who use it to complete variable names. The gap is obvious to anyone paying attention. But you can't see exactly what the good ones are doing differently. And you can't scale what you can't see.
Why this keeps happening
The gap is obvious. The cause is not.
A handful of people ship faster. Everyone else looks busy.
The team uses the same tools but gets different results.
Nobody can name what the best people do differently day to day.
When you try to spread what works, you're working from memory and anecdotes.
Your best people's workflows are invisible.
Champions build in private
The people who figured it out built personal systems on their own, so none of the good practice becomes team practice.
Surface use looks fine
Everyone sees the same tools, but autocomplete-level use hides the gap until speed and output quality diverge.
No shared standard
If you can't define champion-level work for your team, you can't coach it, scale it, or close the gap.
Until champion workflows are visible and teachable, the gap between your best people and everyone else will keep widening.
How we approach this
How we turn your best people's habits into team practice.
Find your champions by evidence, not reputation
We assess every team member through structured voice conversations and a hands-on micro-task. Each person is scored across seven dimensions and placed into an adoption tier: champion, growing, or stuck. We identify who has built real workflows by observing how they set up context, decompose problems, and verify output. Reputation and title are not part of the score.
What you'll have at the end
Make champion-level work visible enough to scale across the team.
What we find
The same tool stack produces radically different outcomes across the same team. A few people have built full workflows, while the rest are still using AI as autocomplete with better branding.
What you receive
Team map
A map of your team: who is a champion, who is growing, who is stuck, and why.
